Manager, Emergency Services (RN)

Schedule: Full-Time

Shift: Day Shift

Scope: Emergency Department only

Are you an experienced Emergency Department leader ready to take the next step in a high-acuity, fast-paced, patient-centered environment ?

This Emergency Services Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a large, complex ED within a highly respected acute-care facility that includes multiple emergency departments , advanced trauma services, and strong physician and nursing collaboration.

As the Emergency Services Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in clinical excellence, staff engagement, patient safety, and operational performance , while partnering closely with senior nursing leadership to advance departmental and organizational goals.

🔑 What You’ll Do

Provide hands-on leadership for daily operations of the Emergency Department

Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through staffing oversight, workflow optimization, and clinical accountability

Lead, coach, and develop a large team of ED nurses and support staff

Monitor quality indicators, patient throughput, and clinical outcomes

Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Support a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement

🎯 Qualifications

3+ years of recent ED leadership experience (Manager strongly preferred; high-acuity Charge Nurse experience considered)

Recent acute-care Emergency Department experience required

BSN preferred (or actively pursuing with completion within 2 years of hire)

Active RN license (state or compact)

Required within 90 days of hire:

ACLS

TNCC

NIH Stroke Scale

ENPC or PALS
