Contact H&A for Details Position Details & Responsibilities A well-established heavy equipment dealership is seeking a Used Equipment Manager based in North Dakota to oversee its used construction equipment strategy, inventory, and profitability. This role will work closely with sales and branch teams to manage equipment valuations, trades, acquisitions, and sales while leading a small used equipment team. Responsibilities Manage the dealership’s used equipment inventory, pricing, valuations, and inventory turns. Provide market-based equipment evaluations for trades, rental, sales, and financing opportunities. Partner with sales teams to develop creative trade and used equipment solutions. Develop strategies to acquire, market, and sell used equipment. Manage departmental profitability and monitor inventory aging and market trends. Build relationships with dealers, brokers, auctions, and other equipment trading partners. Partner with Marketing to promote available inventory. Lead and develop the used equipment team. Travel periodically to dealership locations to support branch and sales teams. Experience evaluating and pricing used construction equipment preferred. Strong knowledge of equipment markets, inventory management, and sales strategy. Previous leadership experience preferred. Strong financial, analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with equipment condition and applications preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
