Senior ASIC Design Manager

Job Summary: Coherent analog Integrated Circuits ASIC group designs physical layer ICs for high-speed fiber optic data communication and other applications. This group has delivered over one billion ICs over the past 25 years solving the tough bandwidth challenges the Data Center, Metro and Long-Haul optical transceiver markets continuously face. As an IC design manager of a highly skilled analog design team in our Santa Clara and Champaign offices, you will be responsible for leading transistor level design and validation of CMOS and BiCMOS high-speed broadband ICs and manage our team of analog design engineers. Coherent is seeking an experienced hands-on design manager who will oversee architecture, design and custom layout of high frequency ICs for advanced optical transceivers and other electro-optical systems.
