Contact H&A for Details Position Details & Responsibilities A well-established crane rental company in Southern California is seeking an experienced Sales Representative / Project Manager to develop new business, manage customer relationships, and oversee crane rental projects from initial quote through completion. This position will focus on growing revenue through operated and bare crane rentals while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a sales-driven professional with strong project management skills who can balance new business development with the coordination of crane rental operations. This role requires someone who is comfortable working directly with customers, conducting jobsite visits, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Develop new business and grow revenue through operated and bare crane rentals. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers while identifying additional sales opportunities. Prepare quotes, negotiate rental opportunities, and achieve established sales revenue goals. Conduct jobsite visits, evaluate project requirements, and coordinate crane rental solutions. Manage larger projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring customer expectations and deadlines are met. Coordinate crane and rigging schedules, equipment deliveries, and outside labor as needed. Obtain necessary permits, including street and FAA permits, when applicable. Prepare and maintain project documentation, rental orders, dispatch information, and lift plans using company software. Communicate with customers, dispatch, operators, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Address scheduling challenges, customer concerns, and operational issues to keep projects on track. Maintain a strong commitment to jobsite safety and compliance with company procedures. Experience managing projects, coordinating equipment rentals, or overseeing jobsite operations preferred. Strong business development skills with a proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close sales. Understanding of crane rental operations, rigging, lift planning, and construction jobsite requirements preferred. Ability to coordinate multiple projects, schedules, and customer needs simultaneously. Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage project documentation and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with FCC crane rental software is a plus. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Valid California driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable personal vehicle required. Ability to travel regularly to customer locations and jobsites throughout the assigned territory. Comfortable working in active construction environments and following applicable safety requirements.
