Quality Manager

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Quality Manager in Mark, Illinois. This is a direct-hire position and the salary range is about $90,000-115,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve quality management system

Lead and manage quality inspectors and quality engineers

Work closely with other departments

Develop and maintain inspection and process control methods

Review engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T

Ensure CMMs, height gauges, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement equipment are effectively utilized

Lead root cause investigations and serve as the primary quality contact for customers

Support audits

Ensure compliance with ISO

Support automotive customer requirements including PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and related documentation

Experience Needed:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

At least 5 years of CNC machining and precision manufacturing experience

At least 3 years of management experience in quality control

Strong knowledge of GD&T, CMM inspection, ISO, PPAP, and root cause analysis
