Job Overview:

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sr Data Governance Manager to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Hybrid, Direct Hire opportunity is based in Frazer, PA and offers the chance to shape enterprise data practices that drive informed decision making across the organization. The selected candidate will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen data quality, governance standards, and information management processes while guiding strategic improvements. Success in this role requires strong leadership capabilities, hands on technical expertise, and the ability to influence change across a complex business environment.

Compensation:

$145,000 annually

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Sr Data Governance Manager:

Oversee enterprise data governance frameworks, ensuring consistent policies, standards, and controls are established and maintained across key business functions.

Guide initiatives focused on data quality, lifecycle management, information accessibility, and stewardship to improve the reliability and usability of organizational data assets.

Facilitate collaboration among business, technology, compliance, security, and project stakeholders to align data management practices with operational objectives.

Support the administration and enhancement of governance technologies, metadata repositories, data lineage resources, and other information management solutions.

Lead and mentor data governance personnel, including distributed team members, while providing governance guidance to analytics, reporting, automation, and data platform teams.

Qualifications and Skills for the Sr Data Governance Manager:

Bachelor's degree required along with extensive experience leading data management, governance, analytics, or related information focused functions.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience developing and executing data governance strategies within complex organizational environments.

Demonstrated hands on experience working with data governance, metadata management, and data quality platforms, including tools such as Informatica and Collibra.

Strong understanding of master data management, data quality practices, governance program development, and information lifecycle controls.

Proven ability to manage offshore resources, influence cross functional stakeholders, and lead organizational change through effective communication and relationship management.
