Affordable Housing Property Manager

Sheridan, Wyoming, We are seeking an experienced, dependable professional to join our affordable housing management team in Sheridan, Wyoming. This position will help coordinate the management and compliance responsibilities for approximately 300–400 residential units located throughout Sheridan, Casper, Wright, and Buffalo. This is a long-term position designed with leadership succession in mind. The successful candidate will initially work closely with our experienced management, compliance, accounting, and maintenance staff to learn the company's properties, systems, procedures, and internal processes. As senior team members eventually retire, this individual is expected to assume increasing responsibility for the overall coordination and direction of property management operations. We value the knowledge and systems that have been developed by our long-term employees. At the same time, once the successful candidate has thoroughly learned and understands our existing processes, they will be encouraged to identify opportunities to modernize, streamline, and improve those processes. Strong organizational and management skills. The ability to coordinate responsibilities across multiple properties and communities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to communicate professionally with residents, employees, vendors, auditors, regulators, and governmental agencies. Competent computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications. The ability and willingness to learn property management and compliance software. Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding compliance documentation and deadlines. Negotiable
