Mechanical Design Engineer II (Manufacturing Engineering) Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency • Design, procure, and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment • Support automation and semi-automated manufacturing initiatives • Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities • Partner on new product development from concept through production • Develop manufacturing processes that improve consistency and throughput • Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and safety assessments • Manage customer and internal engineering projects from quote through execution • Support bid/no-bid decisions, estimating, and resource planning • Collaborate across engineering, quality, and production to deliver successful projects • Champion continuous improvement and a safety-first culture

Mechanical Design Engineer II (Manufacturing Engineering) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required • Mechanical design and manufacturing engineering experience required • Experience designing tooling and fixtures using 3D CAD required • Ability to work 100% onsite required
