Job Listing:

🔎 Position: Data Analyst

📍 Location: In office

💸 Salary Range:

⌚ Job Type: Full-Time

Summary/Objectives :

We're looking for a mid-level Data Analyst (around 2–4 years' experience) to turn data into answers for teams across the business. You'll be the go-to person for ad hoc data requests, building the reports, dashboards and database views our stakeholders rely on to make decisions. This is a varied, hands-on role. One day you might be pulling numbers for a leadership update; the next you'll be designing a Power BI dashboard or modelling a new view in Databricks. If you enjoy solving different problems and seeing your work used, you'll fit right in.

Essential Responsibilities :

Respond to ad hoc data requests from stakeholders across the business, clarifying the question before diving into the data.

Build clear, accurate reports that answer stakeholder questions and support decision-making.

Design, build and maintain dashboards on our custom in-house BI website, and help migrate existing Power BI reports onto it.

Design reusable data models that give teams a consistent, trusted source for reporting.

Create and maintain database views that make data easier to access and reuse.

Use Python to clean, transform and analyze data, and to automate repetitive tasks.

Check data quality and flag issues or inconsistencies before they reach a report.

Explain findings in plain language to non-technical audiences.

Juggle multiple requests at once, prioritizing with stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Competencies :

Strong working knowledge of Python for data analysis (for example pandas or PySpark).

Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in a BI tool such as Power BI. Our dashboards now run on a custom website, so being quick to pick up new tools matters more than any one platform. Experience designing reusable data models for reporting.

Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps for version control and managing work.

Skill at gathering requirements: turning a vague stakeholder ask into a clear, answerable question.

Solid SQL skills, including writing queries and creating views.

An eye for detail and a habit of checking your numbers.

Clear communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at different levels.

The ability to manage several requests at once and prioritize sensibly.

Experience:

Preferred : Experience working in Databricks, such as notebooks, Delta tables or Unity Catalog.

Additional Experience Valued : Experience in a sales-driven business, with familiarity with metrics like pipeline, revenue, conversion and quota attainment.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements that are essential to perform this job are to talk and to hear. It will also be required by the employee to frequently stand, walk, lift up to 25 Lbs., to use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
