About the job
A NauWork client is seeking a Deployment Strategist to join their team. The position is local/in-person in New York, NY .
This venture-backed healthcare technology company is tackling one of the most persistent friction points in healthcare: getting patients scheduled and supported without overwhelming clinic teams. Their AI-powered agents manage high-volume, high-stakes patient interactions—from scheduling and rescheduling to referrals and prescription refill workflows—so care teams can focus on patients instead of call and fax backlogs. With strong investor backing and rapid revenue growth, the team is building at speed and values tight, in-person collaboration to move faster and stay aligned.
In this role, the Deployment Strategist will own customer implementations from kickoff to go-live and beyond. The person in this seat will lead discovery, translate complex clinic scheduling rules into structured configurations, and coordinate cross-functional workstreams to hit launch timelines. They’ll serve as the primary customer point of contact, run UAT, manage launch cutovers, and then continue driving account health and ongoing optimization. This is an execution-heavy, high-ownership opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants a direct hand in shaping both the delivery playbook and the product.
Responsibilities:
Lead customer deployments end-to-end from kickoff through go-live, including discovery, project planning, and timeline management
Facilitate discovery sessions to capture clinic workflows, scheduling rules, and operational requirements
Collect, organize, and maintain implementation inputs (e.g., scheduling rules, knowledge base content, provider setups, appointment-type matrices)
Configure the platform where tooling allows (e.g., assistant settings, scheduling configurations, telephony routing, organizational setup)
Act as the primary customer point of contact during implementation and post-launch for non-technical communications
Lead recurring customer meetings (kickoffs, weekly syncs, stakeholder check-ins) and deliver timely written recaps
Coordinate UAT by guiding customers through test scenarios, tracking issues, and driving resolution to readiness
Manage go-live activities including production cutover and launch-day coordination (e.g., IVR redirect)
Own post-launch account rhythms (recurring syncs/QBRs), triage inbound issues via Slack/email, and monitor account health
Identify expansion signals and partner with sales stakeholders to support growth opportunities
Convert customer feedback and field observations into product requirements; partner with engineering to prioritize admin tooling improvements
Required Experience:
3+ years leading complex software implementations, technical onboarding, or customer-facing project management within a B2B SaaS environment
Proven ability to own implementation timelines, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver successful go-lives
Comfort working in semi-technical environments (e.g., APIs, configuration tools, technical documentation) without needing to write production code
Demonstrated success managing multiple parallel workstreams and coordinating cross-functional resources to deadlines
Strong customer-facing communication skills, including leading meetings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
High bias toward action and hands-on execution in fast-moving, early-stage environments
