Parking Manager (Contract – 2–3 Month Assignment)

Job Type: Contract (2–3 months)

Pay: $27.36/hour

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Parking Manager to lead a high-volume parking operations program on a short-term contract basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in customer service, revenue operations, and large team management .

You will oversee daily parking operations, lead a team of supervisors, and drive initiatives that enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of parking garages and surface lots

Lead and supervise a team including 8 supervisors and 20+ total staff

Ensure efficient staffing, scheduling, and operational readiness

Oversee revenue collection, reporting, and compliance with financial controls

Provide leadership in employee development, coaching, evaluations, and discipline

Participate in and support special event parking planning and execution

Address customer issues and complaints while maintaining policy standards

Review and prepare operational and financial reports

Coordinate with internal teams, merchants, transportation, and public safety partners

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service excellence

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver’s license

Experience managing teams of 20+ employees

Experience working in a customer service and/or revenue-driven environment

Preferred

3+ years of supervisory experience in cash handling, revenue collection, or operations

Background in parking, facilities, logistics, or similar environments

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Experience with reporting, performance management, and process improvement

Ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume operations
