Embedded Hardware Engineer – West Lafayette, IN (Onsite)

A cutting edge wearable technology company is seeking an Embedded Hardware Engineer to architect, build, and prototype next generation low power devices. This is a fully onsite role requiring deep hands on hardware expertise and experience developing wearable or battery powered products from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and develop complete hardware systems for wearable or low power battery operated devices

Build prototypes and iterate quickly to support product development

Perform mixed signal board design and review PCB layouts (design experience not required, but PCB review is essential)

Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams to integrate hardware into full product systems

Support device bring up, testing, and optimization for performance and power efficiency

Must Have Qualifications

5+ years of embedded hardware engineering experience or a PhD in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering

Proven experience building wearable devices or low power battery based hardware from scratch

Ability to architect entire hardware systems end to end

Strong mixed signal board design experience

Hands on prototyping skills

Nice to Haves

Experience reviewing complex PCB designs

Background in biomedical devices or sensor driven wearables

Familiarity with ultra low power architectures or custom hardware stacks
