Healthcare Project Manager ~ Rockford, IL

A well-established, family-owned general contractor, is looking for a Healthcare Project Manager to run projects cradle to grave, from estimate through closeout.

They deliver construction management, design-build, and bid-build work across healthcare, food processing, financial institutions, industrial, and institutional markets, and they self-perform carpentry and demolition. It’s a family company with no layers, so you’ll work directly with ownership and have real control over your projects.

The Role

You’ll own healthcare projects from start to finish: building the estimate, budget, and schedule, then managing construction, the owner relationship, and closeout. Projects typically range from $5M to $20M , with a focus on in-hospital renovations in active, occupied facilities.

What They’re Looking For

Healthcare construction experience, with a solid understanding of infection control and ICRA.

In-hospital renovation experience working directly with hospital engineering, construction, and infection control departments.

Ability to estimate, budget, and schedule projects. Prior estimating experience is not required.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting owner relationships.

Experience managing projects in the $5M to $20M range.
