Corporate Associate

Angott Search Group is partnering with a dynamic midsized national law firm in the search for a Corporate Associate with 3–5 years of corporate experience to join its growing and highly collaborative Corporate Practice Group.

About the Practice

The Corporate Practice Group represents middle-market companies, private equity funds, family businesses, and entrepreneurs in a wide range of transactional and governance matters. The firm handles M&A transactions ranging from $10 million to $1 billion across diverse industries, including food & beverage, industrial manufacturing, professional services, cannabis, and more.

The work includes complex acquisitions, divestitures, ESOP transactions, joint ventures, restructurings, complex commercial agreements, private offerings, and general corporate counseling.

Experience:

Private company mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts, disclosure schedules, LLC/shareholder agreements, and advising middle-market companies on general corporate matters.

Knowledge of private equity, sophisticated M&A transactions, and private securities offerings is a plus.

Ability to coordinate with specialist teams, organize transaction checklists, drive multiple deal workstreams, and conduct efficient and thorough due diligence.

Strong writing and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
