A highly rated and very busy law firm is hiring a Legal Assistant. The position offers full time hours and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a permanent position.
We are open to different qualification levels. Legal assistants with significant experience can anticipate the firm making a generous offer.
We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant (or Legal Secretary) to support a busy litigation attorney and their paralegal. The Legal Assistant will focus on calendaring and scheduling.
The attorneys oversee cases regarding general civil litigation matters, contract disputes as well as probate litigation. Applicants will prepare basic legal documents to support the paralegals when needed.
Minimum Requirements
Able to work in the office – full time hours
Strong organizational skills
Leadership skills – self motivated
MS Office (Word and basic Excel)
