SUPERVISOR OF ELECTRICAL INSTA

In order to be considered for this position candidate must be serving permanently in the title of Supervisor of Electrical Installations and Maintenance, or must have taken, passed, and be reachable on the Open Competitive Supervisor of Installations and Maintenance Exam #4105. The Division of Traffic Operations’ Electrical Inspections Unit seeks to hire two Supervisor of Electrical Installations and Maintenance Level 1 positions. . The candidates will supervise electrical installations for street lighting, signals, or capital construction projects; ensure contract compliance and billing accuracy and review related plans and specifications. Direct and follow up on the issuance of street lighting orders, enforcement compliance, and related inspections. The successful candidate will interface with outside city agencies. The successful candidate will interface with outside city agencies, explain standards, inspect materials, and installed equipment; supervise construction performed by contractors; investigate complaints, monitor site improvement, check repairs and installations; prepare Street Light and/or Signals Maintenance contracts. Perform other related duties.
