Antitrust/Competition Litigation Associate (3-6 yrs) – Premier Plaintiff Law Firm

About the Position:

Our client, a premier plaintiff law firm, is actively seeking an antitrust litigation attorney to join its West Los Angeles office as an associate. The firm handles cutting-edge class and mass action litigation and also partners with government entities, both by helping shape federal and state legislation and by representing them in consumer-protection actions.

Responsibilities:

· Brief novel and complex legal questions, including issues of first impression, in high-stakes price-fixing and monopolization matters

· Conduct sophisticated legal research supporting litigation on behalf of consumers, workers, small businesses, and government clients

· Manage day-to-day litigation, including appearing in court, taking and defending depositions, and handling case management

· Negotiate and draft settlement agreements

Required Qualifications:

· 3-6 years of litigation experience, preferably in antitrust law, and including significant court experience

· Excellent academic credentials

· Outstanding research and writing skills, along with the ability to develop creative and novel legal theories

· Clerkship preferred

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary for this position is $225,000.
