Personal Injury Attorney (10+ yrs) – Plaintiff-Side Firm

About the Position:

Our client, a growing plaintiff-side firm focused on personal injury and workers’ compensation, is seeking an experienced litigator to join its West Suburban Chicago office as a senior attorney. The firm handles a broad range of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, workplace injuries, and medical malpractice claims.

Responsibilities:

· Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from start to finish across Cook, DuPage, and Will Counties

· Take the lead on the firm’s more sophisticated litigation, including handling cases through trial

· Mentor and develop the firm’s junior associates while serving as a senior resource to the firm’s founding attorney

· Represent clients at court dockets, hearings, and mediations

Required Qualifications:

· 10+ years of litigation experience; more senior candidates are encouraged to apply

· Plaintiff-side personal injury experience preferred; attorneys with significant personal injury defense experience who are interested in transitioning to plaintiff work will also be considered

· Trial experience preferred

· Exceptional legal writing skills

Location:

Western Chicago Suburb, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $200,000.
