REMOTE Interim Oil & Gas Title Attorney

Established law firm is seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Title Attorney with strong experience researching and drafting title opinions involving Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed title and real estate research involving oil and gas properties.

Draft original, supplemental, division order, acquisition, and/or drilling title opinions.

Analyze deeds, leases, easements, assignments, mortgages, probate records, and other instruments affecting mineral and surface ownership.

Identify ownership interests, title defects, exceptions, liens, encumbrances, and curative requirements.

Review and interpret oil and gas leases and related agreements.

Work with landmen, clients, title examiners, and other attorneys to resolve title issues.

Apply state-specific oil and gas title laws and requirements in PA, OH, and WV

Will consider candidates who can give 10, 20 or 40 hours per week.
