CNC Manufacturing Engineer

Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Manufacturing Engineer in the Mark, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position and the salary range is about $80,000-100,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Work with various departments including quality and fabrication

Optimize CNC machining processes

Select appropriate fixtures, machines, tooling, and machining methods

Develop setup sheets, work instructions, and document processes

Write CNC programs using CAM software for lathes and machining centers

Support machine setups, tooling trials, and process change implementation

Maintain engineering records

Implement process from prints to finished part

Experience Needed:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

At least 3 years of experience in a CNC machining environment

Proficiency in CNC Programming and CAM software

Familiarity with ISO and IATF

Experienced in evaluating prints, GD&T requirements, and 3D CAD models

Experienced in 5-axis machining
