About the job
The Executive Assistant provides proactive, confidential administrative support to the Institute for Population Health (IPH) executive team, including the Executive Director and Senior Administrator, and coordinates administrative activities across the Institute. This position helps leadership use its time effectively and advances IPH’s mission through reliable coordination, strong relationships, and responsive service to university and community partners.
Working with limited direction, the Executive Assistant anticipates needs, interprets priorities, resolves scheduling conflicts, and keeps leadership informed of commitments, emerging issues, and follow-up needs. The role requires independent judgment, discretion, initiative, and the ability to navigate complex university operations and competing, frequently changing demands. The position serves as a welcoming, professional representative of IPH and strengthens the systems that support its established programs and partnerships.
