Skip to content Technical Sales Representative We are searching for a Technical Sales Representative for our client in the Greater Chicago area. Our client is a complete resource for end-of-line packaging and automation equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with company leadership and make a significant impact on sales growth. Responsibilities: Achieve regional sales objectives by developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers, including OEMs and end users. Identify new sales opportunities and respond to incoming sales leads within the assigned territory. Collaborate with company management to develop and execute sales strategies. Keep management informed by submitting regular activity reports and sales updates. Monitor competition and market trends to stay ahead in the industry. Prepare Project Sheets and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for potential projects and coordinate with internal teams to develop proposals. Present proposals to clients and successfully close deals. Work with the project manager to ensure seamless order entry and production processes. Partner with customers and prospects to explore and develop new product opportunities. Expedite the resolution of customer issues to maximize satisfaction and retention. Qualifications: Proven experience in technical sales , preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors. Strong ability to develop relationships with key decision-makers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently while being a proactive team player. Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned territory.
