Key Responsibilities
Own the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end close activities from start to finish.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and other necessary adjustments.
Complete balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analysis.
Coordinate annual audit preparation and provide documentation to external accounting and tax advisors.
Support AR and AP activities, including invoicing, cash application, vendor processing, and account reconciliations.
Maintain internal controls, support tax and 1099 reporting, and contribute to accounting process improvements.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of the financial close.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, journal entries, reconciliations, and full-cycle AR/AP.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
A detail-oriented, proactive, team-first approach; manufacturing and Epicor ERP experience are advantageous.
