About the Role
Our client, a growing consumer products company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support inventory, operational accounting, and month-end close activities across multiple locations.
This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with both financial data and operational teams. You’ll have direct exposure to inventory accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and process improvements while partnering closely with leadership and operations.

Key Responsibilities
Reconcile inventory balances across multiple locations and investigate discrepancies.
Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving records, and invoices.
Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory and general accounting activities.
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close.
Analyze inventory transactions and assist with reporting and variance analysis.
Partner with operations and purchasing teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
Support internal controls and process improvement initiatives.
Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5+ years of accounting experience.
Experience with inventory, manufacturing, distribution, or operational accounting strongly preferred.
Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations and data analysis.
Understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills.
