Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
Prepare and post journal entries.
Manage and maintain fixed asset accounting records.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
Assist with financial reporting and account analysis.
Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting transactions.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
Strong accounting foundation and understanding of GAAP.
Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
Fixed assets accounting experience required.
Background in agriculture and/or manufacturing environments preferred.
Progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
