Job Title: Accountant
Location: Erie, Pennsylvania (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an accounting professional who can help keep month-end close on track, strengthen reporting accuracy, and support key balance sheet and cost activities in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. This opportunity offers broad exposure across journal entries, reconciliations, cash, inventory, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting, making it a strong fit for candidates who enjoy technical work with real business impact.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate month-end close activities, record transactions, and support timely and accurate reporting.
Prepare and support GAAP, tax, and management reporting, including financial statements and upload templates.
Handle intercompany transaction recording, cost entries, labor and payroll entries, cash receipts, and A/R issue resolution.
Support account reconciliations, capital spend reporting, depreciation estimates, physical inventory activities, and process improvement initiatives.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
At least two years of experience in accounting or finance.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a group environment, with strong computer and analytical skills.
Strong process and continuous improvement mindset, with an accounting focus and good knowledge of GAAP.
ERP experience is needed; 4+ years of relevant working experience and cost accounting experience are preferred.
