Data Analyst

Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The Data Analyst supports business decision-making by automating reporting, building dashboards, and delivering clear, accurate insights to leadership. This is a full time contract position, onsite, based in McLean, VA, with a pay range of $45.00–$53.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated workflows to streamline data collection, processing, reporting, and distribution

• Map manual processes, identify bottlenecks, and build end-to-end automation solutions that reduce turnaround time and errors

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, including integration with Excel and SharePoint data sources

• Create scheduled, self-refreshing dashboards and automated report delivery for stakeholders

• Perform data quality validation, reconciliation, and discrepancy analysis across datasets

• Compare datasets, identify trends, and summarize findings for executive-level audiences

• Develop data visualizations and infographic-style summaries to communicate insights clearly

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience automating manual processes in Excel and performing accurate data analysis with strong attention to detail

• Hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards and visualizations, including integration with Excel data

• Experience working with SharePoint data sources and/or file-based reporting workflows

• Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps

• Strong data reconciliation skills, including validating accuracy and investigating discrepancies across multiple datasets

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting insights to executive leadership

• Ability to provide examples of past dashboarding and data visualization work

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
