Heitmeyer Consulting is seeking a senior-level IT Project Manager to lead multiple large-scale enterprise technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of project management experience, a proven track record delivering complex cross-functional IT projects, strong executive stakeholder management skills, and experience navigating enterprise PMO environments. Banking or regulated industry experience is highly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in project planning, financial management, governance, risk management, vendor oversight, and enterprise technology delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies. This role is on-site in Tulsa, OK.

Required Skills

7-10+ years of IT Project Management experience

Experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise-level IT projects

Proven success delivering large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives

Strong project planning and execution expertise

Budget management and financial forecasting experience

Executive stakeholder management and sponsor negotiation

Risk, issue, dependency, and change management

Vendor management and third-party coordination

SDLC and enterprise technology delivery experience

Experience leading projects across multiple technology platforms and business groups

Strong project governance and PMO reporting background

Requirements gathering and oversight of technical solution delivery

Experience managing:

System Integration Testing (SIT)

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Production deployments/cutovers

Data migrations/conversions

Preferred Skills

Financial Services / Banking industry experience

Experience working in regulated industries

Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies

Steering Committee leadership experience

Enterprise Architecture collaboration

Cybersecurity and Information Security governance exposure

Compliance, Audit, and Risk Management partnership experience

Capital versus Operating Expense budgeting knowledge

Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Initiation & Planning

Review project charters, proposals, budgets, and funding models

Develop integrated project plans

Define scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables

Lead project estimation workshops

Establish governance and communication frameworks

Enterprise Project Delivery

Manage 2-4 concurrent enterprise initiatives

Coordinate cross-functional technology teams

Manage project interdependencies and critical path activities

Drive milestone achievement and issue resolution

Lead delivery across multiple departments and vendors

Financial & Budget Management

Build and administer project budgets

Manage CAPEX and OPEX allocations

Forecast monthly spend and project financial health

Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions

Manage contingency reserves

Executive Stakeholder Management

Serve as primary contact for executive sponsors

Lead steering committee meetings

Present project status to senior leadership

Align business priorities with technology execution

Solution & Requirements Oversight

Facilitate business and technical requirements definition

Partner with architecture and engineering teams

Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards

Support design reviews and decision-making

Testing & Implementation

Coordinate SIT, UAT, performance, security, and integration testing

Support release planning and production readiness

Oversee cutover, deployment, and migration activities

Ensure business acceptance criteria are met

Risk, Issue & Change Management

Maintain risk registers and mitigation plans

Lead issue escalation and resolution

Evaluate change requests and business impacts

Present recommendations to Change Control Boards

Vendor Management

Coordinate third-party vendors and consulting partners

Manage contract deliverables and commitments

Monitor vendor performance and accountability

PMO Governance & Reporting

Prepare executive dashboards and status reports

Track project KPIs and milestones

Ensure compliance with PMO standards

Mentor junior project managers when required
