About the job

Scopely is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our Finance team, supporting Central & Shared Services in Culver City on a hybrid basis, working 3 days per week from our hub.

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues, or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

Show us the money! As the Finance team, we’re number crunchers with top-notch analytical and reporting skills. As a shared service, we get to work with all of Scopely's talented studios.

As Senior Finance Manager, Central & Shared Services Finance, you will lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting across a broad portfolio of Scopely's corporate functions.

You'll serve as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders across the COO, CPO, CRO, CLO, and CFO organizations, supporting a global organization of more than 600 employees and an annual expense budget exceeding $200 million.

A key part of your role will be managing and improving the allocation of more than $160 million in shared services costs across our game teams, ensuring financial transparency, accuracy, and a clear understanding of costs.

Beyond managing existing processes, you'll help build scalable financial tools, improve planning and reporting workflows, and develop a team of two finance professionals.

What You Will Do:

Lead Central & Shared Services FP&A: Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across corporate functions, including COO/CPO, Business Development, Corporate Development, IT & Facilities, Legal, and other G&A teams.

Manage shared-cost allocations: Design, maintain, and continuously improve methodologies for allocating more than $160 million in annual shared services costs across game verticals, balancing accuracy, fairness, and transparency.

Partner with senior leadership: Serve as a trusted finance partner to functional leaders across the COO, CPO, CRO, CLO, and CFO organizations, providing actionable financial insights and recommendations.

Collaborate across game teams: Work closely with Game team FP&A partners to ensure shared-cost allocations are clearly understood, consistently applied, and supported by reliable financial data.

Lead and develop your team: Manage two finance professionals, establish priorities, delegate responsibilities, and support their professional growth and development.

Improve financial processes: Partner with central FinOps and Accounting to strengthen the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of financial close, reporting, forecasting, and allocation processes.

Build scalable tools and automation: Identify opportunities to replace manual workflows with repeatable financial models, reporting tools, and automated processes.

Drive financial clarity and alignment: Communicate complex financial information clearly, proactively identify risks, and build consensus across stakeholders with competing priorities.

What We're Looking For:

6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or a related field, including some people management experience.

Experience working within large, complex organizations and managing financial priorities across multiple functions and senior stakeholders.

Strong financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and analytical skills, with experience improving financial tools, models, or reporting processes.

Demonstrated ability to develop scalable financial processes and introduce automation that reduces repetitive manual work.

Proven experience partnering with senior executives, influencing decisions, and building consensus across teams without direct reporting authority.

Experience managing, coaching, and developing finance professionals.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations.

Strong judgment, proactive stakeholder management, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining financial accuracy and accountability.

Bonus Points

MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle, or similar enterprise financial systems.

Prior experience supporting Legal, IT, or Corporate Development functions from a finance seat.

Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate modeling, reporting, or analysis.

Experience in gaming, tech, or other high-growth industries.

Please ensure that the résumé/CV you attach is written in English.
