The National Fraud Enforcement Division (FRD), established by the Department of Justice on April 7, 2026, is a new, centralized litigating division dedicated to investigating and prosecuting fraud against taxpayer‑funded programs, including healthcare, tax, and benefits fraud. The Division unites several DOJ components to create a coordinated, whole‑of‑government approach to combat fraud. FRD’s mission demands advanced technical capability, robust analytical support, and sophisticated data handling.

Responsibilities:

Manage 8–10 large, complex eDiscovery cases per week from start to finish in accordance with the EDRM

Ensure standardized eDiscovery and litigation support procedures are consistently applied throughout each case

Serve as the eDiscovery SME for assigned matters, advising attorneys on best practices and procedural approaches

Gather attorney requirements and translate them into detailed work order tickets in case‑tracking systems

Oversee execution of all technical workflows including staging, culling, processing, and loading

Train and assist attorneys with search strategies, review workflows, and platform usage (e.g., Relativity Server or RelOne)

Run productions, prepare exhibits, and support analytics and AI‑driven workflows

Act as the primary technical representative for the matter, delivering or coordinating all required technical solutions

Ensure all activities comply with directives for secure handling of sensitive documents

Maintain organization, priorities, and deadlines in a fast‑paced production environment

Manage relationships with case teams, technical staff, and other stakeholders across complex projects

Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum 5 years of experience providing eDiscovery and litigation support on large, complex matters

Thorough understanding of the EDRM, including collection, review, analytics, and production

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detailed planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage deadlines under pressure

Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and data sources

Prior experience managing eDiscovery projects and related technologies

Advanced experience planning eDiscovery strategies, minimizing client risk, and managing client expectations

Proficiency across a wide range of eDiscovery and litigation support tools and technologies

Ability to ensure compliance with all document‑handling security directives

Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate within a team environment

Desired:

Undergraduate and graduate degrees, preferably in relevant fields
