About the job

About the Company

Our client is an early-stage fintech company modernizing cross-border business payments and supplier payouts. By combining payment infrastructure, compliance, and automation into a unified platform, they help businesses move money more efficiently across global markets. Backed by experienced operators and investors, the company is entering a high-growth phase and is seeking its first dedicated marketing leader to help define and scale go-to-market strategy.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to join as the company’s first marketing hire and build the marketing function from the ground up.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will own strategy and execution across brand, content, demand generation, product marketing, events, partnerships, and customer acquisition. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating as both a strategic leader and hands-on builder in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s overall marketing strategy and go-to-market initiatives.

Build foundational marketing programs, processes, and reporting infrastructure from scratch.

Own demand generation efforts across digital, content, partner, event, and outbound channels.

Create compelling messaging, positioning, and value propositions for target buyers.

Partner closely with sales and leadership to drive pipeline generation and revenue growth.

Lead content development including thought leadership, case studies, customer stories, and sales enablement materials.

Manage the company’s brand presence across web, social, events, and industry channels.

Analyze campaign performance and use data-driven insights to optimize marketing effectiveness.

Gather customer and market feedback to influence product positioning and growth strategy.

Ideal Background

5+ years of experience in B2B marketing within fintech, payments, SaaS, financial services, or high-growth technology companies.

Experience building marketing functions or launching new products, markets, or business lines.

Strong understanding of demand generation, product marketing, content marketing, and GTM execution.

Track record of driving measurable pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building in an early-stage environment.
