BACK JOB ID: 18707 In-Office Direct Hire Payroll and HR Manager Chamblee Georgia 0 75000 100000 PER HOUR Our client, a growing real estate development, construction and management company located near Spaghetti Junction off of I-85, is seeking a Payroll & HR Manager . Reporting to the Controller, this hands-on role owns payroll, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR for approximately 150 employees across the company's construction and property management businesses. This position is five days a week in the Chamblee office. Key Responsibilities Process all payroll in ADP Workforce Now, including semi-monthly salaried and bi-weekly salaried/hourly payrolls across multiple entities Manage payroll taxes (SUI and SIT) across GA, FL, TN, AL, NC, SC, and TX using ADP SmartCompliance Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and short/long-term disability Manage new hire onboarding, including ADP setup, background checks, drug screening, and E-Verify/I-9 Oversee time and attendance and expense reimbursement through Concur Handle day-to-day HR matters such as attendance issues, write-ups, and PTO tracking Support annual audits (workers' comp, 401(k), insurance census, financial) and prepare W-2 and 1099 filings Serve as the go-to HR resource for employees Qualifications 5+ years of payroll and HR experience, ideally in a small-to-mid-size, multi-entity environment Strong hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (required) Working knowledge of multi-state payroll tax compliance Experience with benefits administration and open enrollment Familiarity with Concur, ADP SmartCompliance, and E-Verify a plus PHR/SHRM-CP or CPP certification a plus Strong confidentiality, attention to detail, and communication skills Comfortable working independently as the primary payroll/HR resource Submit Your Resume: Payroll and HR Manager Fill out the form below to submit your resume for this position.
