About the job
We are partnered with a rapidly growing aerospace company that is looking for a Staff Accountant due to growth.
Salary: 80-90k + bonus
Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable activities including invoice processing, three-way matching, vendor maintenance, and payment processing.
Support Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and other month-end close activities.
Perform bank, balance sheet, credit card, and subledger reconciliations.
Assist with inventory, fixed asset, and operational accounting processes.
Support audit requests and financial reporting requirements.
Partner with purchasing, operations, receiving, and customer service teams to resolve accounting-related issues.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of accounting experience with hands-on AP and AR responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Experience with three-way matching, vendor management, and payment processing.
Advanced Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and reconciliations.
Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or product-based environment is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
