Job description
From Commercial Development to Government Agencies this fast growing Construction firm is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for their amazing team! With industry-leading expertise, they pave the way for strong, long lasting surfaces. Are you highly organized and have great attention to detail with Accounts Payable and Administrative experience? Accounting Duties:
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
High volume of invoicing monthly.
Print all accounts payable checks.
Answer all vendor inquiries and act as a liaison between the company and vendors.
Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.
Ensure all payments are paid on time.
Assisting with other Admin duties in the office.
Experience
Strong construction industry experience, a plus!
Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college, preferred!
3-5 years of previous Accounts Payable experience, preferred!
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
Proficiency general ledger accounting is essential.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
