About the job

The Anderson Search Group has been engaged by a premier $100B+ financial institution to identify an experienced Wealth Management Senior Program Manager to join its growing Wealth Management organization in Houston, Texas, or Salt Lake City, Utah.

Wealth Management represents a significant strategic growth priority for our client, serving affluent and high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and executives across an extensive Western U.S. banking footprint.

This is a highly visible, senior-level position responsible for translating the organization's long-term Wealth Management strategy into executable programs, operational improvements, and measurable business results.

The successful candidate will combine deep wealth management expertise with strategic program leadership, Salesforce CRM proficiency, financial analysis, change management, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex financial services organization.

This is not a traditional client-facing Wealth Advisor position. It is a strategic business leadership opportunity working across Wealth Management, banking, credit, operations, technology, and executive management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program Leadership & Execution

Lead complex, high-impact Wealth Management programs and cross-functional business initiatives from development through successful implementation.

Partner with senior Wealth Management executives, banking leadership, business-line sponsors, and other stakeholders to develop and execute strategic roadmaps.

Support the execution of the Wealth Management division's five-year strategic plan, translating long-term priorities into actionable initiatives and measurable outcomes.

Establish program objectives, scope, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, and implementation strategies.

Serve as the primary point of accountability across multiple business lines and functional areas involved in strategic initiatives.

Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans covering scheduling, resources, dependencies, risk management, and performance reporting.

Identify business challenges, evaluate potential solutions, and develop comprehensive business cases and financial justifications.

Maintain financial oversight of assigned programs, including budgets, resource utilization, financial tracking, and return-on-investment considerations.

Identify and mitigate program risks while proactively resolving obstacles that could impact execution, adoption, or business results.

Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations outlining progress, key performance indicators, risks, recommendations, and strategic outcomes.

Lead organizational change-management initiatives associated with new platforms, business processes, technologies, and strategic priorities.

Facilitate collaboration and decision-making among stakeholders with competing priorities and organizational responsibilities.

Salesforce CRM & Wealth Business Management

A significant component of this position involves serving as a primary Salesforce subject matter expert for the Wealth Management organization.

Responsibilities include:

Lead initiatives designed to improve Salesforce utilization, adoption, reporting, and business effectiveness across Wealth Management.

Optimize CRM processes supporting client referrals, internal banking referrals, business development, and advisor pipelines.

Enhance the tracking and reporting of opportunities, pipeline activity, closed-won business, and advisor production.

Develop processes and reporting tools that improve pipeline visibility, data accuracy, accountability, and management decision-making.

Partner with Wealth Management leadership to identify opportunities for Salesforce workflow enhancements, automation, and process improvements.

Collaborate with technology, operations, and business teams to implement CRM improvements that support advisor productivity and business growth.

Establish consistent business practices and reporting standards across multiple markets and banking affiliates.

Candidates must bring meaningful, hands-on Salesforce experience beyond basic CRM navigation or activity tracking. Experience with pipeline management, reporting, dashboards, workflow optimization, and driving organizational adoption will be particularly valuable.

Wealth Lending & Business Initiatives

Serve as the primary backup supporting the organization's Pledged Investment Line of Credit (PILOC) offering, including associated processes and servicing requirements.

Partner with Wealth Advisors, private bankers, commercial bankers, credit professionals, and operations teams to support lending solutions for affluent and high-net-worth clients.

Assist with initiatives designed to strengthen collaboration between Wealth Management and affiliated banking organizations.

Support additional strategic initiatives involving private wealth, affluent banking, investment management, lending, client experience, and operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

8+ years of experience leading complex programs, strategic initiatives, business transformation projects, or related enterprise-level responsibilities.

Significant professional experience within Wealth Management, Private Banking, Investment Management, or a closely related financial services environment.

Strong understanding of wealth management business models, products, client acquisition strategies, advisor productivity, and operational processes.

Advanced knowledge of program and project management methodologies, including governance, scope management, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and change management.

Demonstrated ability to develop strategic business cases, evaluate alternatives, conduct financial analysis, and support investment decisions.

Experience managing program budgets, financial performance, resources, and measurable business outcomes.

Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving senior executives, business leaders, technology teams, and operational stakeholders.

Advanced Salesforce CRM experience, including business development pipelines, reporting, dashboards, workflow optimization, and process improvement.

Exceptional executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and strategic-planning capabilities, with the ability to translate broad business objectives into actionable initiatives.

Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and driving results within highly matrixed organizations.

Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced financial services environment.
