Location: Grand Rapids, MI Compensation: $45,000- $55,000 Schedule: M-F | Full time

What You’ll Do

Accounts Payable & Intercompany Transactions

Manage incoming and outgoing intercompany invoices, with a volume of up to approximately 500 invoices per month

Verify invoices and perform 3-way matching

Process payments and ensure transactions are accurately recorded

Handle transactions involving multiple currencies and understand how currency conversions impact entries

Manage the AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries

Maintain accurate and timely intercompany accounting records

General Ledger & Month-End Close

Prepare and post journal entries

Perform account reconciliations

Support the month-end close process

Assist with maintaining accurate general ledger accounts

Apply accounting principles and GAAP knowledge to daily accounting activities

Qualifications

Required:

At least 1 year of accounting experience, including invoice entry and journal entries

Basic understanding of foreign currency transactions and currency conversions

Understanding of GAAP

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Experience working with balance sheets, income statements and general ledger accounts

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
