NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join our client’s team. This is a Remote, Direct Hire position.

SALARY: $190,000 – $240,000 (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS: • 7+ years of data science experience (may include PhD research experience) • 4+ years of data science experience within financial services • Proven ability to lead ambiguous, 0-to-1 product and financial analytics work (define metrics, frameworks, and decision criteria) • Strong Python and SQL skills (production-level; able to partner with engineering to ship solutions) • Ability to own work end-to-end (stakeholder communication, trade-offs, production scaling, accountability for outcomes)

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Own the analytics strategy for a new product initiative from early exploration through scaled adoption • Design and build ML/AI models leveraging bank transaction data to enable new product capabilities • Run rapid experiments and develop proofs of concept to solve greenfield, open-ended problems • Define evaluation frameworks and decision criteria to guide scale/change/stop decisions and risk vs. growth trade-offs • Partner with engineering to productionize solutions and provide technical direction/mentorship to other data scientists
