Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Assistant:

Process bank deposits and maintain gift card transactions and related journal entries

Review daily closing documentation and assist with cash-report audits

Track chargebacks and submit supporting documentation to credit card providers

Report and monitor general liability and workers’ compensation claims

Maintain insurance records, certificates of insurance, and safety inspection documentation

Qualifications for the Accounting Assistant:

1+ years of accounting support, bookkeeping, or related administrative experience

Experience maintaining spreadsheets, financial records, and supporting documentation

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office software

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
