Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities
As Restaurant General Manager, you will have full responsibility for restaurant performance, team development, and day-to-day operations, including:
Lead, coach, and develop the restaurant management and hourly teams
Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing employees
Drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence
Manage labor, food costs, inventory, and controllable expenses
Analyze financial and operational results and implement action plans
Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and sanitation
Create a positive, accountable restaurant culture
Develop Assistant Managers and Kitchen Managers into future leaders
Build strong relationships with guests and the local community

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years of Restaurant General Manager experience
Proven success leading restaurant operations and developing teams
Strong understanding of sales, labor, inventory, food cost, and profitability
Excellent guest service and problem-solving skills
Ability to recruit, coach, motivate, and retain great people
Hands-on leadership style with strong operational standards
