Position Overview

Flow Capture has a strong installed base across Autodesk's largest enterprise accounts, and we are now taking it into an entirely new segment: mid-tier production companies. Flow Studio has built a strong customer base through product-led growth and is moving upmarket to larger creators and studios. We are hiring a Flow Sr. Technical Sales Specialist to be the technical backbone of both motions, with a primary focus on Flow Capture and support for Flow Studio as needed.

This is a senior technical selling role for someone who can map a production's workflow from camera to final delivery, understand where media, people, and approvals get stuck, and show exactly how Flow fits. You will partner directly with Flow Capture Principal Sales Specialists in the field and Flow Studio Sales Specialists on the inside team to run technical discovery, deliver compelling demos, answer security and integration questions, and secure technical closure. Your impact is directly tied to revenue.

This is a startup inside Autodesk, and it is not starting from zero. The products, the customers, and the executive backing are in place. What is new is the team and the motion. As one of the first technical sellers on the team, you will help build it from the ground up: creating the demo environments, technical playbooks, security documentation, and proof of concept approach that every rep after you will use. You will work alongside a cross-functional growth team from Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Analytics, and learn from peers on the Fusion team, who have spent eight years scaling a similar business in manufacturing.

Autodesk's culture emphasizes curiosity, rapid innovation, and ownership. We believe in reimagining what is possible, taking smart risks, and pursuing results with urgency. Flow lives that mindset with startup speed, bold goals, and a mission to transform how content gets made.

Technical sellers who thrive here know how to simplify complexity, build trust fast with creative and technical teams, and move deals forward with confidence.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery with producers, post supervisors, editors, DITs, VFX and pipeline leads, and studio IT and security teams to understand real workflows, data flows, and constraints

Map current state production and post workflows, identify bottlenecks in dailies, review, and media handling, and design future state workflows powered by Flow Capture

Partner tightly with Flow Capture Principal Sales Specialists to build deal strategy, ensure technical accuracy, and deliver coordinated customer engagement, including on-site meetings with productions and facilities

Support Flow Studio Sales Specialists on Enterprise opportunities with technical demos, pipeline integration guidance, and validation as needed

Deliver precise, high impact demos that clearly show how Flow solves critical production problems, from camera-to-cloud dailies to secure review and collaboration across distributed teams

Own technical closure by validating requirements, leading proofs of concept, addressing risks, and removing technical blockers

Lead responses to security reviews, questionnaires, and content protection requirements, working with internal security and product teams

Scope integrations with cameras, on-set hardware, editorial and finishing tools, and broader production pipelines, including Flow Production Tracking

Help build the team's technical foundation: demo environments, reusable assets, security documentation, and repeatable technical plays

Stay tightly aligned with Product and Engineering, bringing customer feedback from the field to help shape the roadmap

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or customer-facing technical role in software, ideally SaaS

Hands-on knowledge of film, TV, or commercial production and post-production workflows, such as dailies, editorial, review and approval, and media management

Strong technical discovery skills and the ability to map and re-architect workflows across production, post, and IT teams

Ability to speak credibly about cloud security, access controls, and content protection with studio IT and security stakeholders

Confidence presenting to both technical teams and executive leaders with clarity and business relevance

Experience supporting complex sales cycles, including proofs of concept and technical validation

Talent for simplifying complexity and linking technology decisions to business outcomes

High energy, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to operate at startup speed inside a global company

Able to travel as needed to customers, productions, and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with camera-to-cloud, dailies, or review and approval platforms

Familiarity with studio content security standards and assessments (e.g., TPN)

Familiarity with 3D, VFX, or animation pipelines and tools such as Maya, Blender, or Unreal Engine, or with AI-powered creative tools

Experience with cloud architecture, SSO and identity management, or APIs and integrations

Startup or early-stage team experience

The Ideal Candidate

Flow Capture and Flow Studio revenue sourced or influenced through your technical leadership

Technical win rate and closure across opportunities you support

Quality and depth of discovery, workflow mapping, and solution design

Speed and quality of proofs of concept and security review responses

Influence on deal velocity and win rates

Contribution to the team's technical playbook, demo assets, and enablement

Why Flow, Why Now

Production teams are more distributed than ever, the media they manage is more valuable than ever, and AI is changing how content gets made. Flow Capture and Flow Studio sit at the center of both shifts, and demand is moving into new segments faster than ever. As a Flow Sr. Technical Sales Specialist, you will shape the technical strategy behind that growth and help build the technical foundation of a new team.

If you want to bring deep production knowledge to a fast-moving team, earn trust with creative and technical leaders, and help scale two exciting products, we want to talk.
