AWS Service Quotas have been leading this transition by providing insights into user activity and automated security tools.
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join a highly respected team building one of the largest configuration audit platforms in the world. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life—both in and outside of work.
Key job responsibilities - Design, build, and operate high-scale, highly available distributed services that extend AWS Config. - Design and build AI agent orchestration systems that automate resource type onboarding at scale - Own solutions across the full lifecycle: design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and support. - Own operational excellence for agentic workflows - monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms - Mentor and guide junior engineers through design reviews and constructive, rigorous code reviews. - Bring structure to ambiguous problems, manage competing priorities, and make data-driven decisions.
About the team AWS values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the preferred qualifications and skills listed in the job description, we encourage candidates to apply. If your career is just starting, hasn’t followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don’t let it stop you from applying.
