Configuration Manager (MMIS)

About the Role

Conduent is seeking a Configuration Manager to oversee and maintain the integrity of the organization’s software, hardware, and system configurations, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and smooth change management.

This position is contingent upon the award of a government contract. Recruiting and interviewing activities may occur prior to contract award; however, employment and start dates are subject to contract award, funding, customer approval requirements, and/or satisfaction of any applicable pre-employment conditions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the point of contact for Configuration Management activities during DDI and Operations

Define configuration management process and procedures

Manage version control of the solution, documentation, and other project artifacts based on system

changes

Maintain an inventory of all artifacts that are created or maintained for the client

Manage configuration identification to establish relationship between software, hardware, and documents

Responsible for conducting regular audits, reporting findings to the Agency, to ensure solution components are properly configured and adhere to established standards and guidelines

Ensure client approval of solution versions prior to release of functionality, so correct versions are deployed and associated documentation is accurate and up to date

Responsible for ensuring documentation is accurate, current and accessible to team members, stakeholders and agency staff

Manage the configuration project team members for onboarding, training, and task assignments

Provide regular updates on configuration management efforts

Complete and submit performance and status reports

Reports to Systems Manager

Requirements

Four (4) years of experience in configuration management of Medicaid or Major Health Care Payer projects

Three (3) years of experience using configuration management tools and software

3+ years of experience with modifying and maintaining configuration of Medicaid or Medicare systems relevant to the proposed solution

Working knowledge of Medicaid Transformation Initiative, Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) 3.0, and the CMS Conditions for Enhanced Funding

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or similar field; or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations, software development life cycle, and ITIL Service Configuration Management methodology. ITIL Certification preferred

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $96,250 to $125,000
