About the job

Qumulo's cloud data platform manages exabytes of the world's most demanding data, unifying files, objects, and every workload across edge, core, and cloud.

About the Position:

Remote, based in Greater Boston, southern New Hampshire, or Rhode Island

As Qumulo’s Territory Account Manager you will lead the charge in the New England region, displacing legacy providers with our native hybrid cloud storage solutions.

You’ll champion our storage-agnostic vision as you prove to customers they don't have to choose between edge, core, or cloud. With Qumulo's Cloud Data Fabric, anyone anywhere can access the same data in real time, without the need for copies, migrations, and data silos that slow enterprises down. This role is focused on winning new business, expanding a book of enterprise accounts, and executing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

Much of this territory is public universities, research computing groups, and hospital systems - organizations that generate enormous amounts of file data and often run storage they’ve outgrown - so SLED and/or Healthcare experience would be a bonus.

This opportunity has significant earning potential backed by the best comp plan in the industry, in a role that directly impacts Qumulo’s growth by strengthening our presence across key local markets.

Responsibilities

- Open new logos across New England’s enterprise, higher education, research computing, and healthcare accounts

- Displace incumbent storage in environments that have outgrown it

- Run multi-threaded deals with IT leadership, research computing, and procurement

- Work public-sector buying cycles, including RFPs, contract vehicles, and fiscal-year timing

- Expand existing accounts as their data moves into the cloud

- Partner with Systems Engineering on proofs of concept

- Keep a territory plan and an accurate forecast

What you bring

- You’ve sold enterprise storage, ideally file or object, on a platform like Isilon, Dell, NetApp, Pure Storage, Nasuni, or similar.

- Cloud comes up in your deals, and you can hold your own in a hybrid architecture conversation with an infrastructure team.

- You know the New England channel and you’ve sold hardware and software infrastructure through local partners

- You can explain a technical advantage to a CIO in terms of cost and risk.

- You are based Greater Boston, southern New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or eastern Connecticut and can travel across the region regularly.

- Bonus if you’ve sold into SLED, higher education, research computing, healthcare, or HPC.

The annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $325,000 - $375,000 with uncapped commissions, strong accelerators, and benefits including pre-IPO equity. Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills.

Benefits & Perks:

- Pre-IPO stock options

- Flexible time-off policy

- HSA and PPO health insurance options

- Dental and Vision insurance

- 401(k) plan
