Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Assist with financial statement preparation, reporting, and variance analysis.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other daily accounting activities as needed.
Collaborate with internal departments to improve accounting processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
