About the job

Foundation Risk Partners , one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Senior Account Manager - Ultra High Net Worth Private Client to their MSG team in New York Metro Region.

Job Summary:

The Senior Account Manager is a senior, client-facing member of our Private Client practice, responsible for managing sophisticated personal insurance and risk-management programs for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. The position combines exceptional client service with technical coverage expertise, proactive risk identification, renewal strategy, market negotiation and claims advocacy.

The successful candidate will be comfortable serving discerning clients with complex assets and exposures and collaborating with family offices and trusted advisors. This is not a transactional service role. We are looking for an experienced insurance professional who can anticipate issues, think strategically and serve as a trusted resource to clients throughout the relationship.

Essential Functions:

Manage all aspects of the client relationship and ongoing service for a portfolio of HNW and UHNW Private Client accounts.

Conduct comprehensive annual exposure, coverage and limit reviews, identifying changes in the client’s assets, lifestyle and risk profile.

Develop renewal strategy and lead remarketing when appropriate, including preparation of underwriting submissions and negotiation with incumbent and alternative Private Client markets.

Evaluate policy forms, coverage terms, limits, deductibles, exclusions and enhancement opportunities, and communicate recommendations clearly to clients and their advisors.

Coordinate complex, multi-policy personal insurance programs that may include multiple residences, automobiles, valuable collections, watercraft, excess liability and specialty exposures.

Provide proactive claims counseling and advocacy, helping clients navigate the claim process and coordinating with carrier claims professionals and other advisors as appropriate.

Handle sophisticated day-to-day service needs accurately and responsively, including coverage changes, evidence of insurance, billing questions and other policy matters.

Identify opportunities to strengthen client programs through additional coverage, higher limits, improved policy terms or alternative risk-management solutions.

Maintain strong working relationships with Private Client underwriters and carrier partners and represent the client effectively in underwriting and coverage discussions.

Partner closely with producers, internal team members, family offices and outside advisors to deliver a coordinated high-touch client experience.

Competencies & Qualifications:

8+ years of personal lines insurance experience, with a meaningful concentration in HNW/UHNW Private Client account management.

Current applicable insurance license(s).

Strong technical knowledge of personal property and casualty coverage and the ability to analyze complex policy language and coverage structures.

Polished written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting directly with UHNW clients, family offices, wealth managers, attorneys, accountants and business managers.

Excellent judgment, organization, follow-through and attention to detail in a high-touch, fast-moving environment.

Ability to work collaboratively across account management, production, claims and carrier relationships.

Experience with Applied Systems and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Sports & Entertainment Private Client experience is helpful but not required.

Education & Experience:

Demonstrated experience with high-value and multiple residences, including coastal and catastrophe-exposed properties.

Experience with California wildfire/brush and earthquake exposures.

Knowledge of fine art, jewelry and other valuable collections; exotic and collector automobiles; yacht/watercraft; personal umbrella/excess liability; and builder’s risk/course of construction.

Strong experience with leading Private Client carriers, particularly Chubb, PURE and AIG, with additional high-value-home market experience beneficial.
