What You'll Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Power Systems Engineering required What Would Be Nice: Master’s degree preferred Experience: 3+ years of systems and applications development, configuration, implementation, and support experience required 3+ years’ experience with an array of software development technologies required 3+ years’ experience with power systems-related applications in power generation or distribution required 3+ years of experience with SCADA/EMS/GMS systems required (example: ABB Ranger/Network Manager, OSI Monarch) Must know interfaces, integrations, and process flows Solid understanding of SDLC and experience in adopting and working in multiple project management methodologies Intermediate-level skills in implementing, supporting, enhancing, and maintaining complex large-scale production-critical applications in Cloud and data center-hosted environments Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills with a strong focus on customer interaction, customer service, and presentation A motivated self-starter with the capability to operate on their own with little direction and/or monitoring Capability to help deliver quality business solutions within restricted timelines while appropriately communicating/escalating risks, issues, or constraints as necessary to business and/or IT management Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, business partners, and other departments Ability to effectively prioritize organizational skills to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial Ability to read the communication styles of team members, business partners, and contractors from a broad spectrum of disciplines and adjust communication delivery accordingly.
