About the job
Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack
An Opportunity to Build Something That Lasts
We’re partnering with a highly respected, mission-driven SaaS technology company that is investing in the development of innovative software solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys building products, solving complex problems, and having a real voice in technical decisions. You’ll help develop and shape new technology from the ground up, with the opportunity to continue enhancing and expanding what you’ve built for years to come.
Rather than simply maintaining existing applications, you’ll play an important role in creating solutions that make a meaningful difference.
You’ll join a collaborative engineering team that embraces modern development practices, including AI-assisted engineering, and values technical expertise, innovation, and individual ownership.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build and own new product features from initial design and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Help shape technical design decisions, application architecture, APIs, and database structures.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and overall engineering productivity.
Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to help establish and evolve modern, AI-driven engineering practices.
Mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
Take ownership of production performance, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally developing SaaS or web-based products.
Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application development.
Experience owning software features from design through production.
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers.
Nice to Have: Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, serverless architectures, or regulated environments.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Build something new: Help create and shape technology that you’ll continue to enhance and expand over the long term.
Make a meaningful impact: Develop software that helps professionals better serve their customer community.
Influence the technology: Have a voice in engineering decisions and the evolution of development practices.
Work with modern AI tools: Be part of a team actively incorporating AI into its software development processes.
Continue growing: Collaborate closely with experienced engineering leadership, with opportunities to expand your technical influence.
Enjoy a great culture: Join a respected organization that values collaboration, accountability, work/life balance, and its employees.
If you’re a hands-on engineer who wants to help build something meaningful, have a voice in how it’s developed, and see the lasting impact of your work, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
