Responsibilities:
Drive the full software development lifecycle: Engage in requirements analysis, design reviews, implementation, testing (unit, E2E, integration), and deployment—ensuring each phase meets quality and performance targets.
Employ collaboration and DevOps tools effectively: Leverage Jira, Confluence, Nexus, Git (or Bitbucket), and CI/CD pipelines to manage development tasks, version control, documentation, and automation efforts.
Author clear documentation and specifications: Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation—covering architecture, test plans, and release notes—to support development and onboarding.
Proactively identify and address roadblocks: Analyze potential development bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
Estimate work and refine delivery processes: Contribute to sprint planning by sizing tasks, tracking metrics, identifying performance gaps, and facilitating continuous improvement.
Write and maintain robust, maintainable code: Develop well-structured, clean implementations in ES6+ JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 (leveraging frameworks like React, CesiumJS, TypeScript) that adhere to established design standards.
Create and execute effective tests: Develop meaningful test suites, carry out thorough unit, end-to-end, and integration tests, and refine code based on test-driven feedback.
Collaborate on architectural and technical design: Partner with cross-functional technical teams to shape scalable, extensible solutions for new features and enhancements.
Design adaptable solutions for ambiguous requirements: Innovate where specifications are incomplete, ensuring solutions align with user needs and mission goals.
