About the job
On Call Staffing Solutions is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for a contract role in Chicago, IL.
What you will do: - Lead the design and development of software features from planning through release - Guide and review the work of other engineers, and set coding standards - Work with product owners, QA and operations to deliver reliable, well-tested code - Troubleshoot complex issues and improve performance, security and maintainability
What we are looking for: - Several years of professional software development experience, including technical leadership - Strong skills in modern programming languages, APIs and cloud-based applications - Clear communication and experience working in agile teams
