An established, upscale senior living community in the Williamsburg, Virginia area is seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of Dining Services to support a diverse, multi-venue dining operation.

This opportunity is designed for a hospitality professional who excels at developing teams, elevating service standards, and managing the operational details that create exceptional dining experiences.

Your Responsibilities

Partner with senior dining leadership to oversee daily food and beverage operations.

Support restaurant-style dining and healthcare dining services.

Lead, coach, and develop dining managers, supervisors, and service teams.

Maintain high standards for hospitality, service consistency, and resident satisfaction.

Assist with departmental budgets, labor management, scheduling, and financial performance.

Implement operational improvements and service initiatives.

Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and organizational standards.

Support special events, catering operations, and resident engagement initiatives.

Serve as a visible, approachable leader for residents and employees.

What We’re Looking For

Proven leadership experience in food and beverage or dining operations.

Experience overseeing multiple service areas or complex dining operations.

Strong financial acumen and operational management skills.

Demonstrated ability to coach managers and develop high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and resident/customer service skills.

Senior living, luxury hospitality, private club, resort, or healthcare dining experience preferred.

Ability to lead through collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to service excellence.
